Summertime Radness

I truly love all 4 seasons, but there is just something extra special about summer. It's most likely because I'm a bikini addict, and I finally get to dust off my old bikinis or finally put on the new one [or 5] that I ordered while I was snowed in back in February. I'm also a beach addict, [like you didn't already know that] so I love the feeling of sticking my feet in the warm sand, jumping into 70+ degree water, tanning, riding my bike to the beach...gosh the list of summer beach things could go on and on!

My summertime radness mainly refers to all the amazing bikinis that are out there! Some personal favorites: L*Space, Acacia, and Mikoh. I'm pretty active when it comes to beach life, so I like a stylish suit yet one that can stay put while jumping in the water or getting pummeled by a wave.

For the rest of the summer, I'm happy to announce that I will post about my favorite bikini companies and let you all know why they should be your faves too :)

The View From Up Here

Festivals are fun. Festivals with friends are even more fun.

This year I attended my first festival....I know, I know, how did it take me this long?! Truth is, I've always wanted to go (Coachella and Bonaroo are onnn the bucketlist!) But money is always a factor. This year, I made it to a day of Governors Ball in NYC with a few close friends!

I came to the conclusion, that while I love music, and having a ton of acts per day is amazing, it's more amazing to just be with your friends with all that goin' on in the background. I played cornhole with 2 random people (and loved it), danced to songs I didn't know, got free bandanas and koozies, and lost my favorite pair of Free People sunnies (RIP). All in all, Gov Ball was one fun time spent with some rad people.

Ok, here are the deets on my festival fashion:
Fringe purse   |  Vee bracelets   |  AE Cut offs [similar]

Setting Sun

I love you summer, but please slow down! I can't believe it is already past mid July. Where does time go?! Sure I've been enjoying every bit of the salt and sun, but I'd like it to just go a tad slower.

Whenever I feel like the day, week, or month is getting away from me, I try to remember that the sun doesn't fully set until 9pm or so. That means, after a full day of work and then the gym, I can still go relax outside, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the water that I am blessed to witness right in my backyard.

My summer tip to you, e n j o y & r e l a x. Too often do we act like the Energizer bunny and we miss the moments that you can take to kick back and let the day settle..even if it's only for 20 minutes. You've been cooped up inside all winter and all day in your cubicle, get yourself outside and wind your day down with the setting sun.
